ALCOHOL PERMITS:

Please be aware that only non-profit businesses are eligible to file for a one-day alcohol beverage permit.                                                                                 This process is described at the Sacramento Metro Arts website, click here.

Contact the Alcohol Beverage Control (ABC) with any questions, website click here.

ABC states that for-profit businesses may NOT sell alcohol to the public (unless your business has a regular liquor license). Basically, the rules for for-profit businesses are as follows:

  1. One-day liquor/beer permits will NOT be given to for-profit businesses. Only non-profit businesses may acquire these permits.

  2. No money may be exchanged for alcohol purchase in the instance of special events.

  3. Alcohol may NOT be served free of charge by your business to the public, only invitees may be served alcohol (free of charge, as mentioned in #2)

Event permits are required on private property when amplified sound is an issue and must be submitted a minimum of seven business days in advance.

PRIVATE PROPERTY:
